Principles of Biology/Peer Tutor Help
Audio
**I'm adding this section because I attend Dr. Stokes' Principles of Biology lectures in order to assist as a peer tutor. I will try to remember to record the lectures to help you guys study for the exams. I'll also start publishing my notes on Thursday.

**Since Dr. Newbrey provides the PowerPoint notes for her class, I'm trying to figure out an efficient way to indicate the missing information that she provides in class. I forgot to print out my lecture notes before class today, but I have printed them for Wednesday. Hopefully I'll figure out a good way to indicate what goes in the blanks from here on out. Thanks for your patience.**

Welcome and Classes 8/12/13
Hello, and welcome!
I've been keeping a study blog since Spring 2012. The way it works is I record all of my class lectures with a smartpen, and all of the notes I take with the pen are sent to PDF. I upload these files as regularly as I can to the blog, and I share the link with my classmates. Sometimes I also share flashcard files and study guides that I make for my personal benefit. I do all this stuff for my own study help, which I'm sure a lot of people do. The difference is I share it with anyone in my class who wants to take advantage. I usually make pretty good grades, but I also have to say that anything you use on this blog is at your own risk. I would not advise skipping class because you know that you can get the lectures and notes on this blog later. I might make a mistake or write something down wrong, and then it could be bad for you (and me actually). I do my very best to get everything right, but history has shown that I can make mistakes, especially on my study guides. It usually has a lot to do with the fact that I study late at night and I get dumber as it gets later. So if you see anything goofy or (gasp) wrong, please shoot me an email. The format of the blog is categorized by class name, so you shouldn't have any trouble finding what you need. Again, if you have questions or comments, feel free to leave them here in the comment section or email me. Have a great semester!
